I own a small business. Errrrr I mean a mico business!

I own a small business.

Actually, I own a micro business.

It breaks my heart.

I know the name of my business, the fish logo and the J316 are a major turn off for most people.  That is sad.  My husband and I have joked numerous times about how large my business would be if it was named something like Satan's Soaps!  I can see it now.....instead of a J316 stamp I could stamp a pitchfork!  WOOT!  Soaps would be flying off the shelves!  (maybe on their own accord?!) I couldn't keep up!  I would have scents like Witches Brew, Ritual Raspberry, Pagan Passionfruit, and Moon Goddess Mint!  Whew!

But, I chose the side of good.  I choose God.  Even Jesus was rejected in his hometown so I shouldn't feel so bad, right?!  I have a small group of faithful customers for which I am truly grateful.

I have to admit that jealousy on my part is very real.  I know coveting is a no-no.  But somedays it is hard for me to see other soap companies absolutely flurishing and being so busy that they hire helpers and have all these massive wholesale accounts as well as their online presence.  Yes, I get jealous.  I am jealous.  I am working on letting that go & to just be happy for them.  And to be happy for me.  Where I am right now.  Currently, I am not working on my business full-time.  I have more time on my hands than I ever have.  The kids are gone, my husband is working at his own business, and here I am!  I wish I liked cleaning cuz my house sure could use it!  lol

Anyway, even with the rejection, I will continue to run the race.  I will continue to serve my Lord through my work.  I will continue to stamp my soaps J316 and have scripture on my labels. (and I will continue to have a messy house)

If I can get even one person to come to Jesus through my products, I would have won.  I would have beat Satan at his own game.

"Jesus calls him the "prince of this world" (John 12:31).  The Bible talks about the great forces of evil, dominated by Satan, that have been unleashed upon the world.  Thank God, someday Satan is going to be bound, and Satan will not trouble us anymore.  But "{redeem} the time, because the days are evil."  That means that we are to buy some time.  That word redeem is a business word.  We are to redeem - we are to buy - the time at any cost to invest in the Kingdom of God"  Billy Graham

Time is short.  Invest in the Kingdom of God.  If you are looking for a way to reach out to an unbeliever, maybe use a bar of my soap as a ministry tool?  It certainly can get a conversation started!  Spread the word of FS&L by using our products as gifts for your Bible Study!  Every new set of hands that gets some of my product, may be winning someone over to our side!  Yay God!

I thank you from the bottom of my micro business.  Thank you for your purchases.  Thank you for your support.  Thank you for your uplifting messages and social media friendships.

Without you, I wouldn't even be a micro business!

Faith, Soaps & Love

Nothing can separate you from God's love.  For I am certain that nothing can separate us from his love:  neither death nor life, neigher angels nor other heavenly rulers or powers, neither the present nor the futre, neither the world above nor the world below - there is nothing in all creation that will ever be able to separate us from the love of God which is ours through Christ Jesus our Lord.  -Romans 8:38-39
