Esther - Women of the Bible Soap - Handcrafted Carnation and Blood Orange Scented
Esther is one of six Women of the Bible Soaps I have created.
There are many lessons to be learned from The Book of Esther. A few of these lesson are: that God sometimes does things without revealing them by words; pride will come just before a fall; when we please God we can find favor even among our enemies; God’s timing is always perfect; and finally, that if we devise evil for others, it can easily come back on us.
Esther is swirled with purple to represent her royalty. The Bible never states the color of her royal robes but purple was the color of royalty at the time.
This soap is scented with base notes of white carnation and blood orange with notes of sandalwood, black rose, smokey wood and a kiss of patchouli! There are top notes of toasted vanilla bean and whiffs of vetiver, amber and even a tiny touch of Egyptian musk! You may recognize this combo, I sold it before under the name of Little Black Dress.
Now it came to pass on the third day, that Esther put on her royal apparel, and stood in the inner court of the king's house, over against the king's house: and the king sat upon his royal throne in the royal house, over against the gate of the house. Esther 5:1
